Jesus was a missionary and so in order to truly be His disciple we must also be missionaries. EXO is designed to prepare emerging leaders to be messengers for Jesus regardless of what vocation they are called to or where they live.

EXO is for any one who is out of high school , who knows Jesus and wants to experience growth, mission and community.

EXO is a ten week program starting May 24 and concluding August 2.

EXO training times are each Monday from 9:00am until 1:00pm with an additional 3 hours per week of practical service. 

Each week we’ll engage with EXO in two primary ways, and as a bonus, we will go on a retreat!

First we gather for 4 hours to connect with our Heavenly Father, be equipped with leadership and missional skills and experience a sense of community with others who are on the EXO adventure with us. 

Secondly we get sent out to neighborhoods to love people and practice the skills we have just learned. This will be challenging and with that challenge will come tremendous growth. 

Being a part of EXO is a 10 hour a week commitment. 

EXO participants need to be committed to attending Monday training times, as well as a time to go on mission each week with your team.

In addition to our weekly training times we will take our entire team away on a three day experienceMay 28-30. More details about this community building retreat are below. 

EXO will take place at the ONE Center for Leadership in downtown Canton, Ohio. You can find out more about the ONE Center here: www.onecentercanton.com. 

EXO missionaries will be assigned to various neighborhoods and ministry locations. We will pray into this and let the Holy Spirit direct our steps for each person’s placement. 

We include a retreat as part of EXO. Why? Because learning in community is powerful and transformational.  The only way to be in community is to know each other and the only way to know each other is to spend time together. And so we kick the summer off with a retreat.

EXO is lead by RippleFX . We have a heart to develop emerging leaders and unleash them on the world. RippleFx is  putting together a team of seasoned vets to teach, encourage and equip everyone who is apart of EXO. 

No it is not. EXO involves learning skills, practicing them and then employing them in neighborhoods. We do this with a combination of lecture, discussion, practice and then processing success and failure. No one learns how to ride a bike by talking about it. Similarly the skills we want to impart to you need practiced. There will be times of lecture for sure, but the majority of our time is spent actively learning.

You’ll be praying and seeking the Holy Spirit to direct your steps. We’ll give you 40-50 suggestions of simple ways to care about a neighborhoods. We are confident that as you look over the list, listen to the Holy Spirit and also get input from your contact in the neighborhood that God will give you discernment on what to do. 

We are looking for emerging leaders who already know Jesus and desire to deepen their connection to Him and discover how to be used by Him to impact their world. 

EXO participants must have an open heart that is teachable, as well as a willingness to be uncomfortable and take risks in an effort to grow and be used by God.

We expect participants to be available each Monday from 9:00am to 1:00pm, as well as two other times per week to be on mission with their team.
