Made by high school student Meghan Dillon who attended this year, this video documents Allegheny Adventure 2022 and shows what students get to experience on the trip each year.
We spend a ton of time, money and energy on Allegheny Adventure because high school students are worth investing in. Their lives are hectic and often over scheduled. Allegheny Adventure provides a setting for them to slow down, be with people who care about them and have some space to sort life out. All of us need Jesus in order to have life. After all, He is the source of everything that is good. When our lives are too fast paced and over worked it is almost impossible to connect and hear from Jesus. Allegheny Adventure is designed to help high school students decompress, find connection with Jesus and consider what role He plays in their lives. .
Allegheny Adventure is a week long camp for high school students. The week is filled with three things high school students crave:
Each day, students have space to be quiet and reflect on God's truth, spend time talking about real life in small groups, and enjoy all manner of adventure. We intentionally make space for leaders and students to connect throughout the day.
Allegheny Adventure is open to students entering 9th grade through seniors who just graduated.
July 5-9, 2024. Groups are asked to arrive on the first day between 1-2 PM. Allegheny Adventure wraps up on the final day at 12.
Allegheny Adventure is on 80 acres of private property that backs up to the Allegheny National Forrest. The property is located about 15 minutes from Warren, PA. On the property is a hunting cabin which provides us with electricity as well as good well water.
